Cabinet face molding can be used as a small crown molding substitute or as light rail molding. Light rail molding is installed on the bottom of wall cabinets to hide under-cabinet light fixtures from direct view, preventing glare and creating an attractive, finished appearance. It can also be used without light fixtures to simply enhance the bottom edges of wall cabinets.
